Monday Classes

at Private Studio

Zumba Drop In (no class Jan. 2, Jan. 16, and Feb. 20)

7:00 – 7:55 PM – Zumba

One Zumba class for $5.

Zumba classes are on Mondays in the Private Studio. Space is limited. Outside shoes are not allowed in the dance studio. I recommend Z-Kickz dance shoes from Zumbawear. Shoe sizes run true to size.

Belly Dance
January 9 - March 12, 2012 (no class Jan. 16 and Feb. 20)

Eight belly dancing classes for $80 for PG County residents, $96 for non-residents.

Vansville Community Center is located at 6813 Ammendale Road, Beltsville, Maryland (near Laurel). To register for belly dancing classes, please visit the front desk at the community center. Levels

Beginner - Beginner level classes are a great way to get started even if you’ve never taken a dance class. Learn basic techniques and easy choreographies.

Experienced Beginners - are dancers who have at least eight weeks of beginner-level training and are ready to move beyond the basics. Dancers learn techniques, choreographies, and presentation skills.

Intermediate / Advanced - In these classes, dancers continue to hone their skills while learning more sophisticated movements. The class structure includes techniques, choreographies, and presentation skills. Students need at least sixteen hours of belly dancing class instruction or approval from the instructor to take intermediate level classes.

Advanced - Advanced level classes are combined with the intermediate level classes.

Professional - Coaching and advanced level classes are available for professional dancers.

Other Options

Private lessons are available for all level dancers, $40 / hour.

Instructional Lessons at Parties - are very popular. Consider having a group belly-dancing lesson in your home the next time it’s your turn to host a ladies’ party, bridal shower, baby shower, or Middle Eastern Theme Party. $200 includes 45 minutes of instruction and a 15 minute performance.

Specially Arranged, One-Time Group Private lesson at the private studio is also available. $20 per person for one hour of instruction. Minimum of three participants required.

Performance Only - $200 for a 20 minute performance. Prices are double for holidays. Sorry, no bachelor parties.
